Boleia de dedo em riste e papel a dizer: destino Algarve (era o destino que mais vezes via escrito quando ia de férias) … esquece! O ir à boleia ganhou vida nova. Se para muitos a boleia representa uma ideia de aventura arriscada, imprevisível, nómada e até romântica (qual Brad Pitt a pedir boleia no aclamado filme Thelma & Louise), para outros é uma necessidade, uma questão de mobilidade mais económica e amiga do ambiente.
Como a necessidade faz o engenho, um grupo de amigos decidiu criar uma comunidade de passageiros e condutores tendo como missão a partilha de boleias (e não só, porque uma boleia pode ser o ponto de partida de uma qualquer e bonita amizade).
Tudo começou com um grupo no facebook que, a passo e passo, se tornou numa plataforma… o engenho cresceu e tornou-se num mecanismo maior, mais eficiente e abrangente. Assim nasceu o Um Coche. O novo site foi lançado ontem, está fresquinho e pronto a ser usado em prol dos seus 12 destinos.
Desde ontem que Portugal está mais móvel, mais colaborativo. Viajar torna-se assim mais barato, seguro, social e ecológico para os Brad Pitts, as Thelmas e as Louises no nosso país. O lado imprevisível e mais aventureiro inerente a uma boleia não se perdeu, continua lá.
